  • Pastor Jon Ranous (jranous@gcmc.info)

    Pastor Jon and Bethann came to Gospel Center in 2014.  They have four children: Anna, Noah, Micah and Mia.  They are no strangers to the South Bend area.  Both graduated from Bethel College.  Pastor Jon majored in ministry, and Bethann majored in nursing.  Pastor Jon serves as our senior pastor and has a passion to emphasize the importance of Scripture in the life of the church.

  • Pastor Ben Pippen (bpippen@gcmc.info)

    Ben and Leah came to Gospel Center from the Nappanee area in 2018 with their sons Grayson and Zeke.  Ben attended Ball State University and then Ashland Theological Seminary as he pursued his calling into ministry.  He currently serves as the pastor of worship and communications and desires to cultivate a creative Christ-centered culture of worship at Gospel Center.

  • Pastor Jim Bayer (jbayer@gcmc.info)

    Jim Bayer, along with his wife of 50 years, Missy, serves as associate pastor at Gospel Center. They have three sons and ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He received the majority of his training from Indiana University and Bethel College. Jim loves and is a student of God’s Word and believes it to contain the answer to every personal, marital, familial and societal problem we face. Besides his family, Jim enjoys tennis, reading, Notre Dame football, Bethel basketball and the family dog, Quincy.

  • Tara Blankinship (tblankinship@gcmc.info)

    Tara Blankinship has been serving as the Children's Ministry Director at Gospel Center since June of 2016.  With a heavy background in childcare and 4 children of her own, Tara has a passion for working with and serving the littlest of church attenders.  Along with gospel centered curriculum and a strong discipleship program, Tara believes that happy, well-trained volunteers, and well informed parents are vital keys to a successful ministry.

  • Becca Willis (bwillis@gcmc.info)

    Becca Willis began serving as the Office Administrator at Gospel Center in 2019.  She and her husband have been in various church ministry roles throughout the past 15 years and are passionate about churches building community and having strong Biblical teaching and application. Becca's favorite roles in life are wife to her husband, Adam, and mom to their three energetic sons. She also likes a good cup of coffee and hitting up garage sales and thrift stores. 

  • Missy Bayer (mbayer@gcmc.info)

    Missy (Steele) Bayer grew up in a pastor’s home in Ohio, but never moved from Mishawaka, IN, after attending Bethel College.  She taught in elementary and middle schools in Penn-Harris-Madison. Missy has served at Gospel Center as preschool administrator in the 70’s; with her husband, Jim, in Children’s Ministry & Christian Ed in the 90’s; and presently as Director of Women’s Ministries and the Greeter Team.  She is also the Women’s Ministries Director for the North Central District of the Missionary Church. 

  • Don Francis

    Don came to Gospel Center in 1978.  He is a Bethel Graduate of the class of '73.  He is a former pastor and currently is the head of the deacon board.  He was married to Connie Banghart for 29 years who passed away in 2009.  He has taught Sunday School and has served in various areas of church leadership.  Don helps out in the office and is a invaluable member to the Gospel Center staff.

  • Christy Lewis

    Christy Lewis grew up in River Park and became a part of the Gospel Center family at a young age. While at youth night at Prairie Camp she came to understand her faith in Christ needed to accompany life change and since then she has had a passion to see students develop real faith that stands the test of time. She is a wife and mother of 4 sweet and sassy girls. She loves Bible Quizzing and the Cubs.
